Symphony

On a starry night a symphony heard is the melody of love.

The music is in the hearts of all who care to look above.

The symphony of stars carries on the timeless story;

Into the ageless heavens they climb and spark a radiant glory.

A Winter Sky

A clear, cold, country sky where splendiferous stars shimmer;

Surrounding the magnificent midnight half-moon, making the velvet sky glimmer.

***

Never Far

No matter where you travel you really must agree;

The same old moon, sun and stars are shining down on me.

***

Promised Circle

It was a night like velvet when the stars were extra bright -

A night that touches every heart when they view the heavenly sight.

The stars were a guard-of-honour to the round, full moon;

I wished it would stay forever - not give way to dawn so soon.

But nights bring on tomorrow - tomorrow with promise true,

So I'll enjoy the rising sun and another sky of blue.

Look Around

Most everyone sees the sky, but how many see the glory?

The moon and stars, the sun and clouds all tell a story.

Colours strewn at dawn and dusk would move a heart of stone,

And the fiery streak of lightning can chill you to the bone;

One-of-a-kind snowflakes saunter to the ground;

All this and more is what we see if only we look around.

Awesome art, night and day, weaves a splendid canvas

Always changing, always a wonder, richly blessing us.
