Wondering
The sun danced and frolicked on the shining blue water
in the middle of the day.
I wonder how far the sunbeams travelled
as the river went on its way.
It's strange to think how the river keeps running,
on, throughout the night -
Just one of many wonders worked
when we are out of sight.
