Man's Higher Self
Maybe you have been aware
Of awesome truths like this -
That deep within there rules the Self,
Man's sacred form of bliss.
Birth and death it has not known;
The Self has always been;
'Tis universal energy,
The Light that is unseen.
Real Self is not personal;
By "real" is meant "Divine".
Become aware of higher Self -
God's image, His design.
Meditating man will know
Where ecstacy awaits;
The man who searches deep within
His mind regenerates.
Silence holds the greatest gifts;
In wisdom 'tis defined,
"The secret place of the most high" -
