WITH THE HEART BEHOLD

Neither "young" nor "old" you'll see
When the heart (not eyes) beholds
Beyond the person to the soul,
Where Truth and Love unfolds.
Dismal thoughts and sorrow's tears
By happiness replaced;
When bonds of laughter we may share,
The future is embraced.

You'll see neither "young" nor "old"
When the heart (not eyes) beholds
Beyond the person to the soul,
Where Truth and Love unfolds.
Those who see you, not with eyes
But only with the heart,
Beyond your person to your soul,
Both Love and Truth impart.
