Children at Easter
Easter, to children, is pastel
eggs, bunnies, hens and chicks;
They happily fill their baskets, not doubting, the world can always
be fixed.
"Jesus loves me" is what
they've learned and love is strength - they know;
That is why their eyes are merry and their little faces glow.
Hear them sing as they skip along,
merrily on their way;
No doubt in their hearts that the world will be safe, again, next
Easter day.
