THE BEST IS "NOW"
Every stage in life presents new
opportunities;
Just take a look at "now" and know this
is the best of these!
Long ago, we thought it was the best there was
right then,
And, as we travelled on life's way, how many times and when
Have we expressed the thought that "now"is the best
time of our lives?
In later decades, after years, the best time then arrives.
Some say, "The best is yet to come!" Perhaps, I do agree;
For every stage in life still holds the best for you and me!

Challenges
Life is filled with challenges,
you call them what you will;
Some difficulties or setbacks, like travelling uphill,
Draw upon that inner source that helps to overcome.
Just face the challenge with your faith, to be less troublesome.
Satisfaction you will gain, the
highest of its kind
When you succeed; the job well done will give you peace of mind.
"Obstacles", it's plain to see, we are better off without,
But "challenges", won day by day, we can feel good about!
