The Warmth of His Love
Glistening in its finery,
in the wintry-white sun,
Is God's relief from winter's blast -
to show what can be done.
Ornamental sculpture
on my kitchen window glass,
Detailing heaven's canvas -
showing the Sculptor's contrast.
He gives us trees in summer
to shade us from the heat;
In winter, when we need the sun,
His solution is unique.
While watching prisms dancing
in the wintry-white sun,
We know the warmth of love that comes
from the Master and His Son.
