Sunflowers and Shadows

Do you see them moving their heads?
Or is it the wind in their hair?
Consider how plants and flowers grow;
They turn to the sun in prayer.

In your garden, there may be a few --
But an acre of them you should see!
In the morning, all face the sun in the east;
In ev’ning, to the west they will be.

Amazing it is to me –
But a lesson that I may learn –
Everything focussed upon His light
Is guided the right way to turn.

With Nature as one of my guides,
Examples galore I can see;
Sunflowers and shadows are proof of this point,
So simply explained to me!
