Notes on a March Day

Eyes squint as the crusted snow glistens;

Sunlight radiates kaleidoscopic reflections.

The spectacle spans across the horizon -

Monumental beauty, only temporary, until trodden by human feet.

Picturesque sun and shadows are augumented -

A reflection of winter wonder that may, tomorrow, no longer be.
