A Legacy
Beauty lives where there's a tree; their strength is like a friend
-
There for us in any weather and always willing to bend.
Some are centuries old, they say, reaching to the sky;
Others, spread their broad arms wide - shelter when the sun is
high.
Trees clean the air in nature's way, their foliage guards our
health;
Secure and sturdy roots go deep - adding to their wealth.
When they are felled we must replace so beauty will always be
And trees will keep our children safe through all eternity.
