Fall’s Surprises

Like white, powdered sugar -
everywhere the eye could see;
First-frost for this season,
and magical as could be.
Gold, citrine, and ruby jewels
floated from trees nearby;
As Autumn’s crown, sparkling in the sun,
caught this writer’s eye.
Frosted fields, all fresh and clean -
the beginning of our today,
Resembling childlike fairyland tales
but in nature’s winning way.
How beautiful each season -
painted so perfect for all;
With colourful surprises non-ending -
this season we call “fall”.
