Daybreak

The rising sun balanced on the edge of the horizon;

birds welcomed the dawn with a song.

The sight and sound tenderly touched the soul

as another day came along.

Dew sparkled on clover and cool green grass;

flowers opened their sleepy eyes.

Another summer day was quietly born

with a pastel painting in the skies.
